Japan's Attempt at Overseas Aggression Disclosed

Pyongyang, October 29 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries have become earnest in their attempt to launch overseas aggression, while calling for easing the "three principles of arms export" and dispatching the Ground "Self-Defense Force" (SDF) to South Sudan. Rodong Sinmun Saturday says this in a by-lined commentary. Their moves are little different from digging their own graves, the commentary notes, and goes on: Japan regards the "three principles for arms export" as a block lying in the way of turning it into a military giant and realizing its wild ambition for overseas aggression. It has long dreamed of focusing its technical potentials on the joint development of the arms. Japan tries to give impression that its joining the development of missile defense system in recent years was under the U.S. pressure. It is now working hard to tighten alliance with the U.S. and attain its sinister goal. Japan's desperate efforts to purchase and develop the latest stealth fighters and drones are aimed to serve this purpose. It is highly disturbing developments that Japan seeks to dispatch the Ground SDF to South Sudan. This is aimed to help it accumulate the experience of battles overseas. By letting the Maritime and Ground SDFs enrich the experience in military operations in other regions and countries, Japan seeks to favorably use them in wars of aggression on Asian countries. Herein lie the gravity and danger of Japan's attempted dispatch of the Ground SDF to South Sudan. Japan has emerged the biggest country of military expenditure next to the U.S. in the West. The "Self-Defense Forces" have fully taken up their shape as offense-type aggression forces after going beyond the scope of "defense." It is clear that in case the SDFs launch aggression, it would seriously disturb global peace and security and bring horrible disaster to mankind. Japan imbues its younger generation with wrong view of history and its lawmakers continue paying group visits to the Yasukuni Shrine. The recent moves in Japan under the influence of militarism indicate that its ambition for aggression has gone beyond the danger line. Japan had better stop reckless act. |
