Pyongyang, October 29 (KCNA) -- The Headquarters of the All-People Movement for Checking the Conclusion of the south Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement which consists of various civic and social organizations of south Korea and the preparatory committee of the People's Strength for Building New World held a candlelight rally in Youido, Seoul on October 27. They declared an action to check the conclusion of the FTA with the U.S.

At the rally, the speakers said that the conclusion of the FTA with the U.S. would cause great damage as it is little short of leaving the south Korean markets to the tender mercy of the U.S.

The "Grand National Party" is attempting to pass through the "National Assembly" (NA) the motion calling for the ratification of FTA, they deplored.

To prevent this, the people from all walks of life should get united and turn out as in 2008 candlelight struggle and judge without fail the group of traitors, they stressed.

They would launch a big rally and demonstration to prevent the NA passage of the motion, they declared.
