Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- "The path of the nation", organ of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon), made public a statement on Oct. 26 in denunciation of the authorities' suppression of the freedom of speech.

The statement recalled: Choe Si Jung, chairperson of the Broadcasting and Communication Committee, forced the organization to delete off articles posted on its Internet website, on the alleged violation of the fascist law. He even threatened he would bring a charge against the organization.

The revelation of Choe's crimes already went public that he perpetrated all sorts of irregularities and corruption including speculation in real estate and accused innocent people on charges of violation of the fascist law, it pointed out.

This guy failed to deter the "Grand National Party" from conducting the campaign critical of the opponent candidate through its broadcasting and communications during the October 26 Seoul mayoral election, the statement noted, adding this has sparked off serious contention.

It charged that this guy dares gag the freedom of expression on the strength of the "National Security Law".
