Tehran, October 29 (KCNA) -- The Iranian deputy minister of Economy and Finance flayed the double standards of the Western countries when it comes to a human rights issue during a meeting with the chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of the German Parliament.

He said that the West was using human rights to apply selective political pressure on countries.

While the West has focused on what they have alleged were human rights violations in Iran, it has kept mum on massive human rights breaches in Israel, he noted.
