Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- South Korean civic and public organizations including the People for Achieving Peace and Reunification, the Solidarity for Progress and the Confederation of Trade Unions held a rally on Oct. 28 to denounce the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet belligerent forces for their criminal confab for preparations for a war of aggression.

At the rally the organizations said that the military authorities of south Korea and the U.S. are working to hold an annual security council meeting in Seoul that day.

At the meeting the warmongers are set to discuss the issues related to setting up the missile committee and mending the missile guidelines between south Korea and the U.S. The U.S. also seeks to let south Korea bear the most of the funds for transferring the U.S. military base.

The organizations condemned the belligerent forces for frequently staging offensive exercises for invading the north and intensifying the military threat to it while working out even the war scenarios simulating an "contingency" in the DPRK.

They stressed that all these acts should be stopped at once as they will increase the possibility of military conflicts in the Korean Peninsula.

They strongly insisted on the abolition of the south Korea-U.S. alliance for aggression and the conclusion of a peace agreement in the peninsula.
