Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- A vocal recital of People's Artiste Son Tae Won was held at the Hamhung Grand Theatre from Oct. 28.

Appreciating the recital were officials, artistes and working people in South Hamgyong Province.

He earnestly sang songs "O, The Leader's Embrace" and "We Long for You, General" in boundless reverence for the peerlessly great persons who brought him up to be a singer well known to the country.

Songs "We Sing of the Party" and "Yanji Bomb" were acclaimed as they showed the singer's unique and rich volume.

Put on the stage were such numbers as mixed duet "On This Blooming Spring Day" from revolutionary opera "The Fate of a Self-Defence Corps Man", male trio "The 2,000-ri Amnok River" and mixed chorus "Do Prosper, Era of the Workers' Party". Son sang these songs together with his disciples.
