DLP of S. Korea Denounces Authorities' Moves to Conclude FTA
|
|
Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) --The deputy spokesman for the Democratic Labor Party of south Korea issued a commentary on October 28 denouncing the chief executive for working hard to conclude FTA with the U.S. The commentary accused the chief executive of sending all members of the "National Assembly" that day letters pressurizing them to clear "the motion calling for the ratification of FTA" at an early date. He has not so far responded to the demand for appearing in the NA as regards the irregularities and corruption but is staging such farce to serve the U.S., it deplored. The commentary held that the NA should not ratify the agreement which would make the south Korean economy remain dependent on the U.S. on a permanent basis and bring benefits to it only. The chief executive's increased pressure for the ratification of FTA would only further confirm its injustice, it stressed. |
