Tehran, October 31 (KCNA) -- Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Sunday lauded resistance of all Iraqi ethnic groups to U.S. pressures at diplomatic talks.

Ayatollah Khamenei praised the Iraqi government's opposition to giving judicial immunity to the occupying troops, and said that such efforts which would make U.S. forces leave the Iraqi territories will be considered as golden pages in the country's history. Referring to establishment of independent Iraq, the Leader voiced Iran's support for the integrated and stable Iraq.

The Supreme Leader welcomed coexistence of various Iraqi ethnic and religious groups and said that new Iraq must be built through unity and solidarity of all groups.
