Moscow, October 31 (KCNA) -- Russia continues exerting efforts to bolster up its air force.

As part of the earnest efforts to rearm the units of flying corps with modern helicopters the ground flying corps of the Russian Air Force have so far received more than 100 new-type and updated helicopters this year.

Russia is expected to produce at least 1,000 helicopters, pursuant to the state arms buildup plan for 2020, said the spokesman for the Russian Air Force recently.
