Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- The Ecuadorian foreign minister affirmed his country's commitment to Cuba's fight against the U.S.-imposed blockade.

Responding to a question by Prensa Latina on the recent condemnation by 186 countries of the U.S. economic, trade and financial blockade on Cuba, the Ecuadorian diplomatic head stated that the UN has spoken out for 20 consecutive years against the blockade. "And it is not the OAS, but the UN, which for 20 times in a row has expressed its disagreement and dissatisfaction, and demanded an end to the blockade. A giant country, the United States, is clearly trying to change by force the government of another country," he noted.
