Tehran, November 1 (KCNA) -- Ali Larijani, speaker of the Iranian Majlis, at a press conference on Oct. 27 condemned the U.S. for its absurd attempt to set up an imaginary U.S. embassy in Iran.

This signifies the U.S. administration's ignorance of politics, he said, holding that the U.S. is gravely mistaken if it thinks it can do something in Iran through the imaginary embassy.

This will only prompt the Iranians to get in closer unity, he stressed.
