Antti Sika Aho, chairman of the Finnish Mangyongdae Committee for Commemorating the Centenary of Birth of President Kim Il Sung, said:

Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, made clear the stand on the prospect of development of the traditional DPRK-Russia relations, the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula, the resumption of the six-party talks and the prospect of the DPRK's relations with the U.S. and Japan.

He is a great master of diplomacy who has displayed distinguished ability in consolidating global peace, stability and friendship as well as DPRK-Russia friendship through his energetic external activities.

General Secretary Mauro Cazadio and Organizational Secretary Sergio Carraro of the Struggle for the Peace and Socialism of Italy in a joint statement said, referring to the contents of Kim Jong Il's answers on the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and the resumption of the six-party talks:

The U.S. should stop the anachronistic and reckless hostile policy towards the DPRK and the war provocation moves, resume the six-party talks without precondition and honestly implement its duty under the Sept. 19 joint statement on the principle of simultaneous actions, thus promptly coming out for the denuclearization of the whole Korean Peninsula.
