Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- The Kyrgyz prime minister in a press conference on Tuesday reiterated the stand of the government calling for the dismantlement of the Manas base of the U.S. air force.

He said he was not sure that the presence of the American Transit Center in Kyrgyzstan provided total security.

"I warned U.S. embassy officials last year that the United States would have to close its base in 2014 in accordance with its obligations," he recalled.
