Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- The top Ukrainian legislator criticized the European Parliament's resolution on his country.

The European Parliament in a recent resolution said it would "develop neighborly-nation policy with Ukraine".

During his visit to a province of the country on October 28, Vladimir Lytvyn, president of the Supreme Council, said the term "neighborly-nation policy" has proved insignificant.

Branding the resolution as harsh and contradictory, he called it "carrot and stick".
