Beijing, November 2 (KCNA) -- A national meeting of press officials was held in Beijing recently.

Addressing an opening ceremony, Li Changchun, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the C.C., the Communist Party of China (CPC), said mass media should regard it as their primary political task to study, introduce and implement the spirit of the 6th Plenum of the 17th CPC Central Committee.

Through this work they should encourage all the party members and ethnic groups to unite in the spirit of the plenum and concentrate wisdom and effort on implementing its decision, Li added.
