Beijing, November 2 (KCNA) -- A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson clarified the country's stand to promote a solution to Iran's nuclear issue through diplomatic negotiations.

Speaking at a press conference on Oct. 28, Jiang Yu said China and Russia presented their views of Iran's nuclear issue to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

China expressed the hope that the IAEA will take an objective and fair position and carefully prepare a report on the nuclear issue on the basis of facts, she added.
