Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- China's deputy permanent representative recently called upon UN to keep its budget rational and reasonable.

Speaking at a debate on the 2012-2013 UN budget, the Chinese official said UN should make a budget to suit the present situation in which the international community is facing a challenge of global economic and financial crisis, with the capacity of the member nations, particularly developing nations put into consideration.

China hopes that UN will fix a rational and reasonable budget through serious and full discussions of the member nations, the official added.
