Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- The Communist Party of Italy will in the future, too, extend support and solidarity to the just cause of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Italy Oliviero Diliverto stressed this stand on Oct. 28 when meeting with DPRK Ambassador to Italy Han Tae Song who attended the Sixth Congress of his Party as the delegate of the WPK.

The leadership ability of the WPK has grown stronger with its Conference held last year as a momentum, he noted.

The WPK is now registering successes in socialist economic construction while taking steps for peace and security on the Korean Peninsula, he said, adding this powerfully encourages the Communist Party of Italy and other progressive political parties of the world.

He expressed belief that the Korean people would bring about a great turn in socialist construction on the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung.
