Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- The Communist Workers' Party and the Social Federation "For the Union and Union's Communist Party" of Belarus made public a joint statement on October 27 as regards the answers leader Kim Jong Il gave to ITAR-TASS of Russia.

The statement said:

Kim Jong Il's answers are testimony to the constructive and peace-loving policy of the DPRK to build an independent socialist thriving country in peaceful environment and achieve denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and reunification of the country.

The common recognition on the laying of gas pipeline and the linking of railways reached between Russia and the DPRK provided a lever to expand the economic cooperation for wellbeing of the two peoples.

The DPRK's will to resume the six-party talks without precondition opened the prospect for concluding a peace treaty with the U.S., which committed brutal aggression against the Korean people in 1950-1953, and normalizing the relations with Japan on the basis of durable peace of the Korean peninsula and admission of the crimes committed by Japan during its colonial rule.

We support the stand of the DPRK clarified in Kim Jong Il's answers.

We wish the fraternal Korean people bigger successes in the road chosen by them.
