Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialists and south Korean authorities mull staging exercises for applying extended deterrent at the U.S. strategic command from Nov. 8, according to Yonhap News of south Korea.

It was announced by the puppet Ministry of Defense on Nov. 4.

The maneuvers with the attendance of the high-ranking officials in the military and diplomacy of the U.S. and south Korea involve drills related to the method and consultation for applying extended deterrent, decision-making procedure, etc, to cope with nuclear threat from someone.

The warmongers plan to stage twice and thrice similar exercises to work out a "coordinated deterrent strategy."

The U.S. and south Korean puppet military held an annual security consultative meeting in Seoul on Oct. 28 in which they had a criminal confab against the DPRK, talking about extended deterrent including the U.S. nuclear umbrella and missile defense system.

The projected military exercises are part of preparations for putting their dangerous scenario into practice.
