Development of DPRK-Russia Relations Hailed in Russia, Germany

Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- Organizations in Russia and Germany issued statements on Oct. 29 and Nov. 1 as regards the answers leader Kim Jong Il gave to questions put up by ITAR-TASS of Russia. The Dagestan Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy of Russia in its statement recognized that his answers serve as important guidelines for action for further boosting the Russia-DPRK friendly relations and ensuring peace and stability in the world and warmly hailed and supported it. His visit to Russia in August this year recorded a new chapter in the development of the Russia-DPRK relations, the statement said. It expressed expectation that the Russian government would demonstrate the friendship between the peoples of the two countries by developing the relations with the DPRK. The German Branch of the Korean Friendship Association in a statement noted that his tour of Russia was of great significance not only in the DPRK-Russia relations but in ensuring peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and the rest of Northeast Asia and the world. The statement welcomed the development of the DPRK-Russia relations and expressed support to the Korean people in their struggle for building a thriving nation. |
