Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- A Pusan branch of the Teachers' Union of south Korea (Jongyojo) in a statement on Thursday demanded the reinstatement of its members.

On the same day the Pusan court ruled as unfair the action taken by the authorities to dismiss the former chief of the branch on charges of participation in a movement for declaring the situation in 2009.

The movement staged by the members of the Jongyojo has been proved to be just one after another recently.

Referring to this, the statement said the recent decision proves that the authorities groundlessly imposed heavy penalties on members of the Jongyojo in all cases.

The statement urged the Pusan city education office to reinstate the former chief of the Pusan branch of Jongyojo who had been unfairly dismissed.
