His old home in Mangyongdae is still preserved to its original state.

Mangyongdae serves as a center of ideological education praising and recollecting the leader.

The Korean people are replete with the resolve to remain true to the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il with great national pride and self-confidence, the TV said, adding the picture of them looking up to the President and Kim Jong Il can be seen everywhere in the DPRK.
