Pyongyang, November 7 (KCNA) -- The Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism in the 63rd issue of its bulletin praised the educational development of the DPRK.

The bulletin edited an article titled "Kim Jong Il and DPRK's development of education in new century" with a photo of him giving field guidance to Kim Il Sung University.

Leader Kim Jong Il underlined the need to improve the quality of education as required by the IT age, the article said, and went on:

It is his plan to turn the DPRK into an educational power of the world in a brief span of time.

The trait of attaching importance to education has been more firmly established in the DPRK under his deep care.

The state investment on education is drastically increasing.

Elaborating on the fact that Kim Jong Il made sure that the content, quality and method of education were steadily innovated and its condition and circumstances improved in keeping with the requirements of the IT age, the article said:

In recent years the DPRK has taken hold on the supremacy of CNC technology and registered world-startling scientific and technological achievements one after another in all fields including nuclear technology, space technology, information technology, nano technology and biotechnology.

This goes to prove that the DPRK has a large number of good talents.
