Pyongyang, November 7 (KCNA) -- The south Korean authorities should stop at once the reckless campaign to tighten the military tie-up with the U.S., mindful of the catastrophic consequences to be entailed by it.

Rodong Sinmun Monday says this in a bylined commentary denouncing the campaign that has recently reached a danger line.

The commentary goes on:

Now the warmongers at home and abroad try to justify their military tie-up under the pretence of "provocation" and "threat" from someone. This is, however, shameless and stereo-typed deception.

South Korea-U.S. military tie-up is unprecedented in its content, scale, provocative nature and danger.

This tie-up is being put into practice for a new war on the Korean Peninsula. A few days ago, the south Korean puppet authorities invited the U.S. marines to the Hoguk war exercise for the first time in history, staging provocative joint military drills in the areas close to the north including Phohang and Paekryong Island, major landing exercise places.

The military tie-up is extremely dangerous act to disturb the peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula and its surrounding areas and ignite a new war.

All these facts prove that the south Korean ruling quarters are running amuck in their moves to invade the DPRK at any cost in collusion with the U.S. despite their lip-service for "dialogue" and "peace".
