Pyongyang, November 7 (KCNA) -- Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi condemned the U.S. and NATO, when addressing at an international meeting over the issue of Afghanistan on Nov. 2.

Saying that they brought nothing to Afghanistan but terrorist actions, drug production, rampant smuggling and killings of peaceful inhabitants, he charged that these are the major source of instability in the region and the rest of the world.

If the U.S. continues interfering in the issue of Afghanistan under the pretext of eliminating extremism, it is impossible to ensure security in the country and the region, he added.

Only when regional countries reject the U.S. and NATO's interference and expand mutual cooperation, is it possible to bring the Afghan stable situation, he concluded.
