Pyongyang, November 7 (KCNA) -- Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas denounced Israeli settlement activities in a diplomatic meeting on November 3.

The continuous Israeli settlement activities in the West Bank and East Jerusalem caused freeze in the negotiations between Palestine and Israel and the peace process in the Meddle East, he said.

He urged the International Quartet for peace in the Middle East to effectively and intensely intervene in Israel's settlement activities in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
