Beijing, November 6 (KCNA) -- Chinese Vice-President Xi Jinping called for increasing the ruling capacity of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Speaking at a symposium held in Beijing Friday, Xi said that for this purpose it is necessary to deeply study and implement the spirit of President Hu Jintao's July 1 important speech.

By doing so, China should successfully carry out the historical task to carry forward the socialist cause with the Chinese characteristics, the vice-president added.
