Pyongyang, November 7 (KCNA) -- Candlelight rallies are going on in south Korea to protest the puppet authorities' scheme for the conclusion of the humiliating "Free Trade Agreement" with the U.S.

The Headquarters of the All-People Movement for Checking the Conclusion of the south Korea-U.S. FTA held a candlelight rally in Central District, Seoul, on Nov. 5.

The organization said that the U.S. law and system and its financial liberalization, in particular, caused the world financial crisis.

The "National Assembly's" ratification of FTA aimed to instill such U.S.-style capitalism should be stopped at once, it held.

The rally went on there on Nov. 6, too, with attendance of many people from across south Korea.

Speakers at the rally stressed that the agreement conclusion should be surely checked by any means.

The present "government" has committed a lot of crimes, they charged.

Noting that even students of middle and high schools have turned out in the struggle, they said that all the people should pool their efforts to keep the "Grand National Party" from passing the "motion calling for ratification of FTA".
