Fine Art Pieces Created by Kim Song Min Exhibited in China

Beijing, November 6 (KCNA) -- Exhibition of fine art pieces created by Winner of Kim Il Sung Prize Kim Song Min, Labor Hero and People's Artist of the DPRK, was opened in Beijing, China on Sunday. On display there are over 20 pieces including "Phoenixes in the 1990s", "Breaking through difficulties", "Tondollari", "Peasant dances", "Joys of labor" and "Song of DPRK-China friendship." Present at the opening ceremony were the director of the Organizing Committee of the Beijing International Art Expo, a deputy general-director of the Chinese Group Company for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and other prominent figures of cultural and art fields and staff members of the DPRK embassy in Beijing. Congratulatory speeches were made there. The speakers expressed belief that the exhibition would contribute to boosting friendship between the two countries and promoting exchange in the fields of culture and art. Its participants looked round the art pieces on display. |
