Pyongyang, November 7 (KCNA) -- DPRK weightlifter Kim Un Guk won a gold medal at the 2011 World Weightlifting Championships.

In the men's 62kg competitions Kim placed first in snatch with 150kg on Nov. 6.

He lifted 170 kilograms in clean and jerk to win a bronze medal and took the second place in total, bagging silver medal.

The championships, being held in Paris of France, brought together 550 odd excellent weightlifters from 93 countries and regions.
