Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- Military bosses of the U.S. and south Korea held the 35th military committee meeting and the 43rd annual security consultative meeting in Seoul on Oct. 27 and 28.

At these war confabs the warmongers examined "joint defense posture," talking about "alliance." They also made public a joint statement containing 15 articles that call for perfecting a "scenario to jointly cope with local provocation" and developing "coordinated deterrent strategy", etc.

In this regard Minju Joson Tuesday carries a by-lined commentary, which says:

They assert that this military collusion is for coping with "provocation by the north", but with such sophism they can never cover up their scheme to provoke a war of aggression on the DPRK.

Their scheme is evidenced by the above-said "scenario to jointly cope with local provocation" and "coordinated deterrent strategy."

In actuality, after their recent confabs the U.S. and south Korean warlike forces have stepped up the work to reorganize and strengthen their combined commanding system and set up new integrated military mechanisms. Meanwhile they are staging madcap war exercises for aggression on the DPRK across south Korea, massively shipping latest war equipment into it.

The situation came to such a phase that they conducted the war exercises in the areas adjacent to the DPRK including the area of the Military Demarcation Line and Paekryong Island and openly staged a "joint landing drill" in Phohang aimed at landing on the coast of the DPRK.

Under this situation, the war hawks of south Korea are vying with each other to make such provocative remarks as "air operation for crossing over MDL" and "preemptive attack." Moreover, the newly appointed chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the puppet army unhesitatingly remarked at a "National Assembly" confirmation hearing that they would bomb the DPRK.

A grave situation is now prevailing in the Korean Peninsula in which a war may break out anytime by the U.S. and south Korean warmongers desperately seeking to unleash a war for invasion of the DPRK while intensifying their military tie-up as never before. The very one responsible for this touch-and-go situation is the south Korean puppet forces and their wire-puller, the U.S.
