Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- Technological updating of industrial establishments is in full swing throughout the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The Sungri Motor Complex has equipped engine production processes with CNC-based machine tools manufactured by the Ryonha Machine Factory and the Kusong Machine Tool Factory, while streamlining the casting and stamping processes.

The Taean Heavy Machine Complex has replaced large boring and other machines with modern ones.

The Ryongsong Machine Complex has directed much effort to the establishment of a computer-controlled heat treatment process, while operating the modernly-built molding process and compressor production process at full capacity.

The Pyongyang 326 Electric Wire Factory has applied a computer-controlled system to individual production process. It is now working on establishing an integrated control system of all processes.

Such technological achievements have also been reported from the Ryangchaek Bearing Factory, Kumsong Tractor Factory, Pyongyang Bearing Factory and other industrial establishments.
