Addressing a meeting held at the Central Party School on November 2, Li Changchun said to intensify the cultural system reforms from a new historic starting point and promote a great development and prosperity of socialist culture is related to the realization of the Chinese nation's great prosperity.

A new phase of the development of socialist culture should be opened up in a responsible manner along with the process of building a comprehensively well-off society on a full scale and developing science, Li added.
