Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- The April 25 Sports Team placed first in the men's and women's matches respectively in the premier soccer league.

The matches took place at Kim Il Sung Stadium in Pyongyang for more than 30 days during national championships.

The girls of the April 25 Sports Team won all seven matches, scoring 20 goals.

Their goal at around forty-four minutes in the first half of the match with the Amnokgang Sports Team led to their final victory in the latest round of the premier league.

They won some rounds of the premier league held last year and this year.

Meanwhile, the prizes of best player, top scorer and best goalkeeper went to boys and girls of the April 25 Sports Team, Amnokgang Sports Team and Kigwancha Sports Team and the prize of morality to the boys of the Amnokgang Sports Team and the girls of the Rimyongsu Sports Team respectively.
