Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- Liu Zhenmin, assistant to the Chinese foreign minister, recently voiced his country's position supporting independence and stability of Afghanistan, a media report said.

Speaking at an international meeting held in Istanbul, Turkey, Liu said to build a peaceful, stable, independent and developed Afghanistan is a common expectation of the Afghan people, regional countries and international community.

China will fully support the process of the restoration of peace in Afghanistan, Liu stressed.
