Pyongyang, November 9 (KCNA) -- The Mexican Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea released the 84th issue of its bulletin under the title of "Speed of Korea".

The course of socialist construction by the Korean people was the days when they had steadily created the eye-opening speed, the bulletin said.

Elaborating on the fact that President Kim Il Sung created the Chollima movement, it went on:

The DPRK carried out the historic task for socialist industrialization in 14 years.

In the 1970s the speed of 70-day campaign was created whereby the country's industrial production grew drastically only in 70 days.

The campaign for creating the 80s speed was dynamically conducted in the 1980s during which such monumental projects were perfected as West Sea Barrage, 10 000-ton press and large oxygen plant.

In the 1990s the Korean people heroically overcame the arduous march in the Kanggye spirit despite the worst ordeals caused by the imperialists' vicious anti-socialist moves and the consecutive natural disasters.

The DPRK launched the first earth satellite Kwangmyongsong-1 in August 1998, heralding the start of building a socialist thriving nation.

Referring to the creation of the Huichon speed, another speed in the DPRK, the bulletin said:

In March this year leader Kim Jong Il visited the construction site of gasification process at the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex. He said it is another miracle to be specially recorded in the construction history that the complex finished in the main the difficult and vast project requiring high technology and many latest equipment in a matter of one year and a half. This is the new Chollima speed, the speed of Korea, he stressed.

The bulletin introduced the achievements made in different fields of the national economy including the light industry.
