Pyongyang, November 9 (KCNA) -- Many people are living in extreme poverty in the United States due to the authorities' unpopular policies.

At least 20.5 million U.S. citizens, 6.7 percent of the country's population, live in extreme poverty, according to statistics from the Census Office.
