Pyongyang, November 9 (KCNA) -- Pomdongsan-trademarked processed honey exhibited by the Pyongyang Apiculture Company enjoyed popularity in the 7th Pyongyang Autumn International Trade Fair held some time ago. Kim Myong Hwa, manager of the company, told KCNA that the products of the company are good for digestion and absorption of nutritious substances as they fully preserve ingredients of natural plants growing in various areas.

They are efficacious for liver cirrhosis, arteriosclerosis, pneumonia, prostatism and other diseases.

The company makes a variety of products with honey from blossoms of natural plants like insam (ginseng), acacia and linden in Mt. Oga.

It has production bases in the northern inland area, including Jagang and Ryanggang provinces, and on the outskirts of Pyongyang.
