Pyongyang, November 10 (KCNA) -- Torrential rains and ensuing flash floods hit the western Yemen on Nov. 6.

The flood left 8 persons dead and many dwelling houses destroyed as of Nov. 7.

The first snow of the season in Calgary, Alberta of Canada created traffic delays. There were lots of accidents and many of them involved injuries.

Roads were blocked, playing havoc with the people's life.

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit southern Philippines on Nov. 7.

The epicenter was 32 km west of the seat of Bukidnon Province.

The quake wounded 31 persons and leveled 82 dwelling houses.
