Pyongyang, November 10 (KCNA) -- The delivery of 50 000 tons of food donated to the DPRK by the Russian government was completed with due ceremony at Nampho Port on Thursday.

Present there were Kim Ji Sok, vice-minister of Food Procurement and Administration, and officials concerned of the DPRK and Ambassador Valery Sukhinin and staff members of the Russian embassy here.

Russia's donation of food to the DPRK is an encouragement to the Korean people in speeding up the building of a thriving country. It will also be helpful to further developing the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
