Pyongyang, November 10 (KCNA) -- Light industry and foodstuff factories in the DPRK have boosted the production of consumer goods.

The September Textile Mill and Hamhung Woolen Mill have kept equipment in full operation on the basis of updated technologies, thereby increasing the production of vinalon and other clothes.

The Haeju and Kaechon textile mills and Songyo and Kanggye knitted goods factories have also operated their equipment at full capacity to turn out a variety of quality fabrics and knitwear.

The Pyongyang Textile Machine Plant and the Sinuiju Spinning Machine Factory are fully supplying textile mills with necessary machines and accessories in time.

The Pyongyang and Wonsan shoes factories have achieved successes in developing new models of shoes.

The Pyongyang Flour-processing Factory, Pyongyang Cornstarch Factory,

Pyongyang Daily Necessities Factory and Sinuiju Enameled Ware Factory have topped their daily quotas in major indexes.

The Kanggye and Chongjin essential foodstuff factories and Susongchon Combined Foodstuff Factory have raised production with raw materials available in their localities.
