Pyongyang, November 10 (KCNA) -- Kumi Inlet is in the southern part of Ryongyon County, South Hwanghae Province.

Kumi means nine beauties.

The inlet is like a picture as it is in harmony with the clear and blue seawater, fantastic cliffs and rocks of Mt. Pongdae, thick pine trees growing on precipices, a vast white beach with sweet briers and white-crested waves.

The inlet is abundant in quality sand needed for glass and other industrial sectors.

Near the inlet there are rich marine resources like sea cucumber, launce, gizzard shad, oyster, short neck clam and tangle.
