Beijing, November 10 (KCNA) -- China successfully launched remote detection satellite-12 and Tianxun-1 satellite to put them on their preset orbits.

Carrier rocket Changzheng-4 with the satellites atop blasted off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launching Center on Nov. 9.

Remote detection satellite-12 will be used for scientific experiment, survey of land resources and prevention of natural disasters while Tianxun-1 for technological verification and experiment.
