Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- A deputy spokesman for the Democratic Labor Party of south Korea in a commentary on Nov. 9 denounced the puppet authorities for tampering with history.

The "government", while mending the standard of writing history textbooks, has decided to cancel all the facts about the movement for democracy conducted in the period of the dictatorial regime, the commentary noted, adding:

This is an ulterior scheme to revive fascist dictatorship and stamp out the movement for democracy.

It is a foolish attempt of the present "government" to infuse distorted history into the younger generation.

The commentary urged the authorities to stop at once such moves.
