Beijing, November 11 (KCNA) -- A meeting took place in Ruijin, Jiangxi Province on Monday to mark the 80th anniversary of the central revolutionary base and the Chinese Soviet Republic.

Participants in the meeting looked back on the feats and traits of the proletarian revolutionaries of the elder generation and the revolutionary forerunners. They also reviewed the brilliant history and experience of the Communist Party in the period of the Chinese Soviet Republic.

The meeting called for carrying forward what the revolutionary forerunners desired in their lifetime and giving full play to the spirit displayed in the Soviet district.
