Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- U.S. forces in Iraq have been killed by resistant forces in the country.

As of Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, at least 4,484 members of the U.S. military had died in the Iraq war since it began in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count.

Since then, 32,224 U.S. service members have been wounded in hostile action, according to the Defense Department's weekly tally.
