Hamhung, November 12 (KCNA) -- DPRK Premier Choe Yong Rim acquainted himself with the work of various fields in Hamhung City, South Hamgyong Province on Nov. 9.

He looked around the February 8 Vinalon Complex, the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex, the Ryongsong Machine Complex and scientific research institutes and public catering networks to learn in detail about the production, the development of new technologies and public service to the people.

He discussed practical issues to thoroughly carry out the instructions given by leader Kim Jong Il to relevant units during his field guidance.

At the meetings, the premier pressed for measures to smoothly solve the problems arising in pushing ahead with the construction of air-tight carbide electric furnace, 75-ton cyclic boiler and the second-phase of Hungnam gasification project in order to keep the production of vinalon, fiber of our own invention, and the Juche fertilizer going at a high rate and hasten the production of ordered equipment including a geothermal pump.
