Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) -- A Korean book, photo and fine art exhibition was opened with due ceremony in Serpukhov City, Moscow Region of Russia, on Nov. 10.

On display in the venue of the exhibition were works of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il, photos on Kim Jong Il's Songun leadership feats, books and pictures introducing the brilliant history of Songun Korea and its development and fine art works associated with wisdom and talent of the Korean people.

The curator of the History and Fine Art Museum in Serpukhov City made an opening address at the ceremony.

The DPRK has achieved world-startling successes in all fields including politics, economy, military affairs and culture under the Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il, the curator said, and went on:

The exhibition will help the Serpukhov citizens know well about the army and people of the DPRK who are closely united around their leader, deeply respecting and faithfully following him.

We wish the Korean people fresh success in their efforts to achieve the country's prosperity under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.

At the end of the ceremony the participants watched Korean films "The Country Shining with Arms of Mt. Paektu" and "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation".
