Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) -- Talks between the delegation of the Korean People's Army and the high-ranking delegation of the Chinese People's Liberation Army were held in Pyongyang on Tuesday.

Present there from the DPRK side were Kim Jong Gak, member of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea and first vice-director of the KPA General Political Bureau, Gen. Pak Jae Gyong, and other generals and officers of the KPA and from the Chinese side Li Jinai, member of the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China and director of the CPLA General Political Department, Lieut. Gen. Ding Jiye, deputy director of the CPLA General Logistics Department, Lieut. Gen. Chen Xiaogong, deputy commander of the Air Force, and other generals and officers of the CPLA and Ambassador Liu Hongcai and Military, Naval and Air Attache Sun Yanfeng of the Chinese embassy here.

At the talks both sides exchanged views on the matter of boosting the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two armies and matters of mutual concern.

The talks proceeded in a comradely and friendly atmosphere.
